CERTIFICATION: QQI Level 5 Construction Technology
This is an introductory course aimed at students who wish to embark on a career or gain qualifications in the construction industry, with a particular emphasis on renewable energy technology. It is ideally suited for students who aspire to apprenticeships in the construction industry.
The course aim is to provide students with a thorough grounding in construction studies. It is designed to provide students with the knowledge and skills associated with environmentally sustainable building and construction technology. The course enables students to develop practical skills in the areas of building construction and renewable energy systems.

A SafePass is required for anyone entering a construction site to work. For those who do not have one, we will organise a Safe Pass course in October.

The full QQI Level 5 Certificate facilitates entry, on a competitive basis, to a range of third-level institutions nationwide. Further details are available from the relevant institutions.

Carpenter | Plasterer | Joiner | Blocklayer | CAD Technician
This practical training programme is intended for students who wish to work in a carpentry/joinery, electrical, plumbing and block laying sectors of the construction industry or who wish to seek entry to Apprenticeships/SOLAS (FAS)/ Further Training. It also prepares students for progression to third-level.
Sustainable Energy & Construction: Course Fees are €300 inclusive of materials, government levies and exams fees. Those with a valid medical card will incur fees of €50 only
